Reporting to the Arizona HSE Manager, the HSE Coordinator will have the opportunity to implement and refine health, safety, industrial hygiene, and life safety programs. This includes conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), ergonomic interventions, incident investigations, and supporting the broader Health, Safety & Environmental team with day-to-day activities. All of this takes place within our brand-new, climate-controlled, 265,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to expand their HSE expertise and gain valuable experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.\nOverview of Responsibilities:\nRefine, implement, and maintain HSE systems, policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including CFR 1910, CFR 1926, and CFR 40.\n\nRefine, implement, and deliver training as part of the organization's HSE learning and development program.\n\nCollaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Human Resources teams to promote a culture of environmental compliance, workplace safety, and employee health.\n\nAssist in the development of risk assessments and safety/environmental audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.\n\nMonitor compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.\n\nServe as a day-to-day resource to support employee safety and health during both routine and non-routine activities.\n\nAssist with contractor management and auditing efforts to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n\n1-3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS/HSE).\n\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, or similar).\n\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Android/iOS devices.\n\nConfidence presenting to groups and effectively training employees on technical and complex safety topics.\n\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly CFR 1910 and CFR 1926.\n\nExperience or familiarity with:\nForklift/PIV safety\n\nLockout/Tagout (LOTO)\n\nContractor safety\n\nFall protection\n\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection\n\nWorking knowledge of First Aid, CPR, and AED use.\n\nComfortable providing first aid assistance and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.\n\nWhat We Appreciate:\nBilingual in Spanish and/or French.\n\nExperience creating training materials, safety communications, or signage using programs such as Microsoft Publisher or Canva.\n\nBCSP certifications or certifications in progress (ASP, GSP, TSP, CHST, CSP, etc.).\n\nExperience with hand tools, ladders, machine guarding, and fire inspections.\n\nKnowledge of CFR 40 and other environmental regulations.\n\nExperience developing and delivering employee training programs.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nDOT and environmental certifications are a plus, including:\nRCRA (8-Hour or 16-Hour)\n\nEPA Visible Emissions\n\nDOT Certification\n\nHAZWOPER\n\nWhy Choose XNRGY?\nOpportunity to work in a brand-new facility.\n\nOngoing development and training opportunities to strengthen HSE expertise.\n\nMentorship and support toward professional HSE certifications.\n\nDynamic team environment that embraces change and continuous improvement.\n\nState-of-the-art facility located near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, providing convenient access throughout the East Valley.\n\nFast-growing organization where initiative, drive, and innovation are recognized and rewarded.\n\nInclusive and diversity-focused workplace culture.\n\nElectric vehicle charging stations on-site.\n\nEqual Opportunity Commitment\nAt XNRGY Climate Systems, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
