The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, quality, sourcing, suppliers, and external laboratories to ensure products meet performance, reliability, quality, and manufacturing requirements.\nTravel up to 25% may be required to support testing, factory activities, supplier visits, and product qualification programs.\nMain Responsibilities\nProduct Testing & Qualification\nExecute product validation and qualification test plans.\n\nSupport laboratory testing of chillers, CRAHs, custom AHUs, and related cooling systems.\n\nCollect, analyze, and interpret engineering test data and provide recommendations.\n\nPrepare technical reports and summarize test results for stakeholders.\n\nSupport AHRI, UL, CSA, and customer qualification programs.\n\nCoordinate testing activities with external laboratories and suppliers.\n\nProduct Development & Implementation\nSupport product development activities from concept through production release.\n\nAssist with component evaluation and product improvements based on performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.\n\nSupport prototype, Proof of Concept (POC), and pre-production builds.\n\nParticipate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.\n\nSupport Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\n\nManufacturing & Production Support\nWork closely with manufacturing teams during new product introductions and product launches.\n\nSupport production in resolving product-related technical issues.\n\nInvestigate design, manufacturing, and field issues and support root cause analysis activities.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.\n\n5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, or product development engineering.\n\nExperience supporting laboratory testing, product validation, and qualification programs.\n\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting engineering data.\n\nWorking knowledge of refrigeration systems, thermodynamics, psychrometrics, and HVAC equipment.\n\nExperience supporting manufacturing and new product introduction activities.\n\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred\nExperience with air-cooled chillers, CRAHs, custom AHUs, or data center cooling equipment.\n\nExperience with magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors, or oil-free compressor technologies.\n\nExperience supporting POC, ECS, qualification, and commercialization programs.\n\nKnowledge of AHRI, UL, CSA, and related industry standards.\n\nFamiliarity with CAD software and engineering documentation processes.\n\nExperience working directly with manufacturing and
