In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate, timely accounts payable transactions. You will handle invoice processing and reconciliations, support month-end close activities, and work closely with the Accounts Payable Lead to uphold quality standards. You will also contribute ideas to improve processes within the procure-to-pay cycle and provide support for audit and compliance efforts. \nHow You'll Contribute:\nGeneral Invoicing & Vendor Management (60%)\nProcess and record vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness\nEnsure proper expense classification and GL coding\nReview invoice documentation for completeness, compliance and business purpose\nResolve vendor discrepancies and correspondence in a timely manner\nCoordinate with department heads and stakeholders to clarify invoice details and obtain necessary approvals\nCreate and maintain vendor master data in accounting systems\nReview and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and employee reimbursement requests\nAP Operations (25%)\nProcess vendor payments through ACH and Wire transfers with proper authorization\nSupport investigation and resolution of payment issues associated with multi-currency and cross-border transactions\nAssist with monthly reconciliation of creditor accounts and vendor accruals\nMaintain documentation of internal controls and audit trail for vendor transactions\nAccounting Operations & Reporting (15%)\nSupport month-end financial statement preparation and reporting packages\nAssist with internal and external audit processes\nCreate and post journal entries for expense reclassification and adjustments under supervision\nWhat You'll Bring to Xometry:\n\nExperience & Education\nMinimum 2-3 years of accounts payable and accounting operations experience\nUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience\nTechnical Competencies\nSolid Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis\nProficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms (SAP, NetSuite, or similar)\nWorking knowledge of multi-GAAP frameworks\nProfessional proficiency in English language (written and spoken); German is a plus\nRegulatory & Functional Knowledge\nUnderstanding of European VAT requirements across multiple EU jurisdictions\nKnowledge of multi-currency payment processing and currency compliance\nUnderstanding of internal controls and audit requirements\nFamiliarity with accounts payable best practices\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work\nReliable and organized approach to work with ability to manage multiple priorities\nWillingness to take initiative and learn from feedback\nCollaborative mindset with hands-on mentality and willingness to support team needs\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nAdaptable to changing business needs and open to continuous improvement\nNice To Have:\nExperience with multi-subsidiary or consolidation accounting\nPrior experience with international payment processing\nKnowledge of German accounting principles and practices\nExperience in manufacturing or technology industry finance operations\nXometry is an equal opportunity employer.
