Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Engineering Advisor to join our Customer Success team, supporting large deals and working with key and strategic customers.\nIn this role, you will act as a key link between customers, providers, and internal teams, ensuring manufacturability of designs and a successful transition into production.\nHow You’ll Contribute:\n Customer Engagement (Deal Stage):\nPerform routine Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for high-end customer orders\nAnalyze part designs and support their optimization to ensure manufacturability\nCommunicate with customers by phone, on video calls, and in writing to clarify design and production issues and solve problems\nSupport large deals and build trusted relationships with key and strategic customers\n Production Support (Production Stage):\nCollaborate with providers in writing, by phone, and on video calls to resolve manufacturability challenges\nTravel to providers when needed, if location allows\nProvide expertise in complaint handling (excluding formal RMA cases)\nEnsure clear and timely resolution of technical production issues\nSourcing & Continuous Improvement:\nWork with the Sourcing Engineering team during the provider search stage to identify the most suitable providers\nSupport continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes\nWhat You’ll Bring to Xometry:\nTechnical Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and sheet metal manufacturing.
