As a founding Data Scientist for Xometry’s India PDT team, you will also help establish strong data practices, build cross-region trust and collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and execution as the organization scales.\nHow You’ll Contribute:\nAI Driven Analytics\nDrive AI-Enabled Software Development: Champion the adoption of AI across the SDLC, identifying and scaling innovative ways to accelerate data analytics across Xometry\nAnalytics & Business Insights\nDefine metrics to measure product and business performance\nAnalyze data to identify opportunities, issues, and key business drivers\nTurn insights into actionable recommendations and estimate business impact\nBuild dashboards and visualizations to track performance and trends\nExperimentation & Statistical Inference\nDesign experiments to measure the impact of product and business changes\nApply statistical and causal inference methods to draw reliable conclusions from data\nData, Tools & Technical Leadership\nPrepare and analyze large datasets using cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake\nUse SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Looker, and related tools to analyze data and generate insights\nPartner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to shape strategy and priorities\nClearly communicate insights, model results, and recommendations to stakeholders\nFound and Scale Xometry’s India Product Development Center\nServe as a founding Data Scientist, establishing strong data science practices and building a high-performing team\nWhat You'll Bring to Xometry:\n5+ years of progressive data scientist experience\nBachelor’s degree required; degree in applied math, computer science, natural sciences or engineering preferred\nM.S. or Ph.D. in a related field highly desired\n5+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques\nFluent in Python (pandas, numpy, SciPy, and scikit-learn preferred)\nProficient in linear algebra and statistics\nFamiliar with scientific software principals, e.g. versioning systems, reproducibility\nExperience in the manufacturing industry is desired\nXometry is an equal opportunity employer.
