The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying and validating GNSS receivers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the UE Verification Engineer will develop and execute testing protocols, verification and certification procedures for Pulsar-capable GNSS receivers, analyze results, and contribute to product improvements.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and execute test plans for GNSS hardware verification and certification.\n\nDevelop test cases and scenarios to evaluate performance of receivers under various conditions and to satisfy different market segment requirements.\n\nExpand existing test requirements into automated, repeatable workflows.\n\nDesign functional and robustness test procedures for positioning, timing, interference, resilience, and environmental impacts.\n\nAnalyze test data and generate detailed verification reports on findings including receiver performance metrics and compliance with specifications.\n\nSupport field testing and validation efforts as needed.\n\nStandardize data capture, storage, traceability, and reporting.\n\nImplement test workflow improvements for coverage, repeatability, and QA/QC.\n\nStay updated on GNSS technologies, standards, and industry trends to inform testing strategies.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s in Geomatics, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering.\n\n3+ years of experience with hardware and firmware testing and verification, preferably in GNSS.\n\nExperience with different classes of GNSS receivers, RF hardware testing, timing systems, or related space systems.\n\nStrong proficiency in testing methodologies and tools, preferably in GNSS verification.\n\nDemonstrated systems engineering experience with requirements, traceability, and V&V.\n\nStrong skills and demonstrated experience in Python-based scripting and automation in Linux and Windows environments, with working knowledge of networking concepts, troubleshooting, and other related tools and concepts.\n\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nFamiliarity with usage of GNSS simulation tools and equipment.\n\nExperience interfacing with GNSS receivers and familiarity with GNSS data formats and protocols (NMEA, RTCM, RINEX, SP3, proprietary).\n\nExperience with high-precision timing tests.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and structured software engineering practices.\n\nGNSS or navigation signal processing knowledge (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou).\n\nIngénieur(e) en vérification d'utilisateurs finaux\nLieu : Montréal, QC (sur site)\nXona est l’entreprise d’intelligence de navigation qui apporte une certitude en temps réel, à l’échelle du centimètre, à tout appareil, partout sur Terre.\nGrâce à Pulsar - l’infrastructure satellitaire PNT en orbite terrestre basse la plus avancée au monde - Xona offrira un système un système de positionnement global évolutif et rétrocompatible, optimisé pour une précision absolue, une puissance supérieure et une protection renforcée.\nNous recherchons un ingénieur en vérification d'équipements utilisateurs (UE) qualifié pour rejoindre notre équipe dynamique.
