This poistion will require testing, troubleshooting, calibration, repairs of AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. Key responsabiliutes will include but not limited to:\nWork in a R&D team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing engineers and technicians on supporting product design in line with XP Core Values.\nProvide technical expertise in new basic product design and modification of existing products.\nResponsible for the building of prototypes to documentation\nWorking closely with the electrical and mechanical design engineers and technicians to achieve the optimum solution\nConstructing and testing of early prototype breadboards and magnetics\nPerform fault reproduction, troubleshooting, system characterization, and root cause analysis of product issues, while ensuring efficient bug tracking and resolution.\nDeliver comprehensive technical reports\nParticipate in new product development during the qualification phase for training and ramp-up.\n Minimum of associate’s degree in electronic engineering or a related technical discipline, Bsc is preffered.\nKnowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion circuit topologies, such as fly-back, forward, boost, buck, and buck-boost converters is highly preffered.\nProficiency in using lab equipment for characterization and design of power supplies and systems (oscilloscopes, DMMs, EMI analyzers, loads, sources, etc.).\nExperience with high voltage systems and firmware debugging is a strong plus.\nUnderstanding of analog, mixed-signal, and/or power semiconductor operational characteristics, with the ability to apply fault isolation techniques at both component and board levels.\nExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.\nProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and across functional departments.\nA proactive and aggressive attitude, with the ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.\n XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
