Joining our team means you’ll work in a high performing global organisation where employees collaborate and strive to make XP Power the first-choice power solutions provider delivering the ultimate experience for our customers and our people.\n The Sr. Electronics Design Engineer in the XP HVHP (High Voltage, High Power) division is a senior individual-contributor technical role responsible for executing High Bridge’s assigned projects within the XP HV Technology roadmap, providing senior-level technical support across new product development, and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. This role combines hands-on design and lab work with project ownership, cross-site technical representation, and development of the broader engineering team.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOwn execution of High Bridge’s assigned projects within the XP HV Technology roadmap - from concept throughdesign-ready maturity - including defining goals, project plans, timelines, resources, and costs\nDocument and present HV technology project findings to technical stakeholders across XP on a regular cadence\nServe as a senior technical resource across all active NPD projects, including schematic creation and review, PCBreview, design reviews, breadboarding, hands-on testing, and reporting\nCarry meaningful technical sign-off weight in design reviews, identifying design issues early\nMentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, including review of their work product and transfer of HV-specific design knowledge\nRepresent HVHP in cross-site design reviews and technical discussions, independently\nProvide technical expertise and problem-solving support for sustaining legacy designs as needed, stepping into alead role when issues become critical\nOther duties may be assigned as required\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), with 10-15 years of power electronicsdesign and development experience, including 10+ years of high voltage DC design experience\nDemonstrated experience leading technology development projects from concept through design-ready maturity\nStrong analog and digital circuit analysis skills, with deep expertise in high voltage DC power supply design\nProven ability to mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers\nAbility to work hands-on with a variety of lab equipment and tools\nProgramming experience (C, LabView, Matlab) is desirable\nFamiliarity with communication protocols (RS232, USB, Ethernet) is desirable\nExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including the ability to present technical findings to stakeholdersacross the organization\nAbility to represent HVHP independently in cross-site technical discussions\nAbility to multitask and shift priorities as needed\nWillingness to work flexible hours on occasion\nLimited travel may be required\n XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
