Joining our team means you will work in a high performing global company where employees collaborate and strive for excellence.\n The Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible to meet the on-time delivery sub-assembly, power assembly, and final product. You will lead and coach the assembly staff creating an environment of continuous improvement to meet quality and delivery commitments. This role requires fluid collaboration across materials, planning, manufacturing engineering, and test.\nDrive daily operations of the assembly areas to assure safety, quality, delivery, utilization, and employee performance and satisfaction.\nHold daily stand ups with all members of the team at the start of the shift. These meeting must cover safety, quality, production, and customer commitments.\nCross over and collaborate with 2nd shift supervisor to assure flawless daily communication.\nManage and balance the assembly and sub-assembly capacity and cycle times to assure delivery to the plan.\nWork closely with Master Scheduler and Planning to execute to the commits. Critical focus on in-house work orders and material shortage processes.\nAssure compliance to shift schedule, recommend overtime as needed, and secure commits to be reviewed with Manager.\nAssure that all assembly equipment, procedures, and employee actions meet required safety protocols. Conduct all required health and safety audits.\nMust be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ERP system production transactions. Well versed in planning and inventory transactions.\nFully capable with the PDM system to support production and understand ECO changes.\nResponsible for training the production associates and securing the support of other functional organizations as needed.\nImprove quality of product and processes through continuous improvement initiatives; structured problemsolving, LEAN, and 6S. Conduct 6S audits and hold self and team accountable for actions to improve every day.\nImplement consistent and robust ESD procedures and processes throughout assembly operations.\nWill provide feedback, coach, and hold team members accountable in work tasks, safety, quality, lean and job performance\nEnsure adherence to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards\n Experience leading assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.\nDegree in Business Management preferred\nProven on the ground experience utilizing structured problem solving, LEAN, and 6S to transformoperations.\nAbility to manage conflict and difficult performance issues.\nStrong knowledge and skill with computer, MRP, ERP, and Microsoft Office software required.\nIntermediate skill with Excel is essential.\nKnowledge of manufacturing controls required - Capacity planning, inventory control, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings and Change Orders, Document Control, and Work Instructions.\nAble to coach and lead employees.\nDemonstrates ownership, accountability, and tenacious follow through.\nIs comfortable with reaching beyond role scope to drive improvement and growth\nProven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills required.\nAbility to lift to 50lbs.\nBe able to work in 2nd shift\n XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
