These are sophisticated, high-end power converters with embedded microcontrollers. Typical workflow is 1 to 6 units per day, depending on the model.\nPower up, testing and calibration of switching power supplies for the first time, following detailed test procedures \nRead schematic diagrams to do some level of troubleshooting, with assistance available as needed. \nRepair manufacturing mistakes as needed. \nPerform other duties and responsibilities when required. \n Some formal electronics education required \nResistor color code, component identification \nGood soldering skills, ability to do SMT rework \nAbility to lift 50 pounds to move units to/from cart or table \nAbility to read and understand schematics and bills of material \nFamiliarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters and other test equipment \nGood communication skills \nStrong work ethic, good judgement, and attention to detail \nAbility to think clearly and logically \nWill certify in IPC-610 and 620 workmanship standards \n XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
