Be a proactive problem-solver, passionate with building and maintaining a team environment, and strives to be an integral part of the overall success of the Company.Core Duties:\nTechnical Product Expertise\n·Serve as a product subject matter expert for Paint Protection Film, Window Film, Architectural Films, Surface Protection Products, Coatings, and Aftercare products.\nSupport Product Managers throughout the full product lifecycle, including concept development, validation, launch, and product optimization.\nEvaluate product performance and installation characteristics through structured testing and field validation.\nIdentify product improvements, manufacturing opportunities, installation enhancements, and competitive gaps.\nField Engagement & Dealer Support\nConduct dealer visits, installer ride-a-longs, and technical evaluations.\n\nGather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback from dealers, distributors, trainers, and installers.\nDiagnose installation challenges and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.\nSupport strategic account visits and key product demonstrations.\nProduct Development & Validation\n·Assist in prototype evaluation and product testing.\nDevelop testing protocols for new products and product improvements.\nBenchmark competitive products and installation methodologies.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to validate product changes.\nTraining & Knowledge Transfer\n·Support the development of technical training content, installation standards, and best practices.\nConduct technical workshops and installer training programs.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, repeatable procedures.\nEstablish and maintain technical installation standards globally.\nCompetitive & Market Intelligence\n·Monitor industry trends, competitive product developments, and emerging technologies.\nPerform competitive product evaluations and market benchmarking.\nProvide recommendations for future product roadmaps and innovation initiatives.\nBasic Qualifications\nRequired Experience\nMinimum 10+ years of experience in:\nPaint Protection Film (PPF)\nAutomotive Window Film\nArchitectural Film\nSurface Protection Products\nRelated installation-based industries\n\nDemonstrated experience working with multiple major film brands and installation methodologies. \nTechnical Competencies\nAdvanced installation expertise across complex vehicle applications, including:\nMulti-piece bumpers\nMirrors\nHeadlights\nRoof applications\nDeep recess installations\nBulk installation techniques\nPlotter-generated pattern workflows\n\nStrong understanding of:\nAdhesive systems\nSurface preparation\nStretch behavior\nFilm construction\nPost-heating requirements\nProduct durability characteristics\n\nAdvanced proficiency with design and pattern software platforms, including DAP and related technical tools. \nCommunication Skills\nAbility to teach, coach, and mentor installers at varying skill levels.\nStrong presentation and training capabilities.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFormer shop owner, lead installer, technical trainer, or product specialist.\nExperience supporting global markets and dealer networks.\nExperience working directly with product development, manufacturing, or quality teams.\nMulti-language capabilities are a plus.\nImprove adoption and installation consistency across key product categories.\nXPEL is an equal opportunity employer.
