These include broadcast systems, mobile apps, integrations with Sonos, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and digital ad monetization solutions. Our studio broadcast system, Rapid, has recently won the NAB Product of the Year award, and is used to by hundreds of radio stations across the world. We have released over 500 apps, and dominate the UK, Irish & Australian markets.\n\nWe work with several major radio groups across the world, including the ABC, BBC, Bauer, Global Radio, Cumulus, MediaCo, New York Public Radio, Nova Entertainment, and SBS.\n\nAbout the role:\n\nJoin our talented team in Bangalore, India, helping radio customers grow their audiences through innovative products and new platforms.\n\nAs an iOS Developer, you will be involved in building award-winning iOS products used by radio audiences worldwide, working across Swift, SwiftUI, audio streaming and connected platforms. You will contribute across product development, shared framework capabilities, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving within a collaborative international team.\n\nYou will combine delivery, stakeholder communication, customer engagement and continuous improvement to help teams deliver effectively at scale. The role also includes building repeatable processes, improving reporting and documentation, and using modern tools, automation and AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency across the organisation.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\nDesign and develop stand-alone iOS apps. \nDesign and develop the All In Media mobile framework, a native platform for speeding up the development of applications in the radio industry. This includes the app-side elements of the framework, as well as input into the support infrastructure that sits around this. \nAssisting with application testing, fault finding, and application builds. \nBrain-storming ideas with the rest of the team, and prototyping new ideas to ensure we (and our customers) can stay ahead of the competition.\n\nWho we are looking for:\n\nMust have:\n\nStrong iOS development skills with Swift and SwiftUI, demonstrated through the delivery and ongoing support of production applications. \n3-5 years of experience\nAbility to work in a distributed team, with the confidence to work independently as well as seek assistance and work collaboratively when required. \nA fundamental understanding of coding and an ability to work things out from first principles. \nExcellent attention to detail, and a desire to be proud of what you do. \nAn appreciation of why design and UX is important. \nExperience with RESTful API's\n\nNice to have:\n\nAn interest in other platforms and integrations, such as Chromecast, Android Auto, CarPlay, Alexa, Sonos and the like. \nExperience on other mobile or tablet platforms would be a plus \nAn interest in radio is helpful!\n\nWhat will make you successful:\n\nA delivery mindset that balances customer commitments, product priorities, and engineering realities. \nThe ability to create clarity where work is complex, cross-functional, or ambiguous. \nGood problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and solve issues quickly. \nTeam player with the ability to communicate ideas verbally and in written form. \nExcitement about how technology is changing the world and a general interest in the tech industry. \nOpenness to modern technologies, and a willingness to try new things\nConfidence engaging with customers and senior stakeholders while maintaining credibility with technical teams. \nA continuous improvement mindset \nCuriosity about automation and AI, and a practical approach to applying technology to improve development, support and operational efficiency.\n\nLife @ Xperi:\n\nAt Xperi, we value People, Customers, Performance and Innovation.
