Banking & Financial Institution Management\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions\nLead negotiations for:\nCredit facilities, interest rates, and banking charges\nOptimize banking structure, including account rationalization and multi-bank arrangements including cash pooling arrangements\nEnsure smooth documentation, facility utilization besides maintaining strong external stakeholder Mgt. 4. Investment & Surplus Fund Management\nFormulate and execute strategies for investment of surplus funds\nEvaluate financial instruments considering risk, return, liquidity, and regulatory constraints\nMonitor portfolio performance and ensure adherence to treasury investment policies\nMaintain a balance between capital preservation and yield optimization 5. Financial Risk Management\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate key financial risks:\nForeign exchange (FX) risk (critical for import/export-heavy projects)\nInterest rate risk & Liquidity and counterparty risk\nDesign and implement hedging strategies using appropriate instruments\nEstablish robust treasury controls and risk frameworks\nMonitor global/macroeconomic trends impacting financial exposure 6. Financial Planning, Strategy & Corporate Finance Support\nSupport the CFO in:\nCapital structure planning\nFundraising strategies (long-term & short-term)\nProject financing structures\nProvide insights on capital allocation, cost of capital, and treasury efficiency\nParticipate in M&A, joint ventures, and restructuring initiatives & Support financial modelling for power projects 7. Compliance, Governance & Reporting\nEnsure compliance with:\nRegulatory requirements (RBI, FEMA, Companies Act, etc.)\nInternal treasury policies and audit frameworks\nManage treasury audits (internal and external)\nTrack and report covenant compliance for all borrowings\nEnsure accurate and timely MIS reporting to the CFO and leadership team 8. Systems, Process Excellence & Automation\nDrive implementation of Treasury Management Systems (TMS)\nActively work towards enhancement of automation in cash forecasting, reporting, and banking interfaces\nImprove process efficiencies and internal controls within treasury operations\nCollaborate with IT and finance teams for digital transformation initiatives 9.
