In late 2025, we acquired Ezypay - a multi-award-winning recurring payments facilitator operating across 10 countries in Asia Pacific. Ezypay now sits within our Xplor Pay division, expanding our global payment processing capabilities and opening up new growth opportunities for SaaS platforms across the region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will resolve issues promptly while safeguarding Ezypay's revenue by identifying, monitoring, and managing operational risks. Additionally, ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations specific to the Taiwanese market. This role is a hybrid role, working with team members located across the APAC region. Some of the other responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments on all new Ezypay merchants (including KYC, AML, KYB, Peps, Sanctions)
- Perform ongoing Merchant Account audits to ensure compliance with external stakeholders and ensure minimal risk exposure.
- Assist with customer/merchant enquiries in the Taiwan market as required to ensure we meet relevant legislation and compliance guidelines
- Review and approve/ decline MDV (Maximum Debit Value) requests in line with company risk appetite
Working arrangements
- Hybrid: For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you'll spend 2-3 days per week in the office (Taipei 101).
- A strong proficiency in English and Mandarin
- Certification TABF or ACAMS, or other local Taiwan professional accreditation) in Financial Crime/Money Laundering, with at least 5 years of experience) is highly required
- Experience and understanding of Fintech operations (or similar environments) such as AML/KYC/KYB and onboarding/monitoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage workload and demonstrate working to deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (such as Word/Excel)
