The Sr. Director FP&A will play a strategic role in forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics. This analytical and strategic leader will oversee the tools and processes necessary to help us scale for the future in a highly visible role that includes frequent interaction with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, and other senior leaders.\nThe Sr. Director FP&A will bring proven experience managing the planning activities of a large, complex company with operations spread across the globe. They will be a change leader and value-add business partner comfortable with managing multiple, high visibility priorities. They will be a thought leader and have the potential to ascend to more senior roles within the organization.\nResponsibilities\nOversee the annual and long-term planning process, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close and reporting\nDevelop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast company performance\nPrepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements\nLead the financial analysis of business decisions and provide recommendations to the Head of FP&A, the CFO, cross-functional business partners, as well as Executive leadership\nLead the analysis and interpretation of operating results, preparation of executive reports, review of financing activities, and analysis of financial effects of various contemplated actions\nLeverage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific and external industry data into key strategic insights that drive forward-thinking business decisions\nPartner with business leaders to develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals\nAnalyze and report on financial performance and KPIs in support of the company’s external financial reporting requirements\nConduct ad hoc analysis and prepare executive level presentations for C-level staff members, and the Board of Directors, including areas impacting the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement\nDrive continuous improvement to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis\nLead, mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, providing coaching and creating opportunities for professional growth and development\nThis position has an annual base salary range of $180,000 to $230,000 USD.\nThis is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S., excluding Hawaii and Alaska. We’d prefer candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.\nWhat would make me a good candidate?\n10+ years of progressive experience demonstrating increasing responsibility, scope, and leadership across multiple Finance and/or FP&A functions\nExperience growing through the ranks in Financial Planning & Analysis roles to enhance support capabilities (predictive modeling, analytics, etc.)\nStrong Professional and educational background; bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or quantitative field required\nExperience with business partnering and owning/managing financial forecasts is a must\nExperience with ERP tools and FP&A planning tools is a must; experience with NetSuite and OneStream is preferred, but not required\nBackground in corporate leadership development programs or investment banking is preferred, but not required\nWork Skills / Personal Characteristics\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProactive and effective communicator with ability to organize, anticipate and plan ahead\nStrong financial modeling experience, from bottoms-up conception to delivery with insightful considerations for the audience and key stakeholders\nExperience identifying and successfully implementing process efficiencies\nDemonstrated experience with core accounting processes and general ledger interaction\nTrack record of delivering high quality financial analysis and reporting\nStrong leadership, interpersonal and partnership skills\nAbility to build high quality stakeholder relationships\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrates behaviors that are positive, progressive, supportive, confident, clear\nExcellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mind\nAdaptability and flexibility, able to manage fast paced change in growing a company\nAt Xplor, we believe that the best innovation and ideas happen at the intersection of differences - people of different cultures, generations, disciplines, and lived experiences.
