About the Role:

We are looking for a Tech Lead who can own end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining deep technical expertise with team mentorship, product thinking, and execution ownership.

You will lead by example i.e.architecting high-performance systems, mentoring engineers, and working closely with product, design, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full-stack development using Python, Django, and Next.js
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high-impact features
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and drive engineering excellence
• Mentor developers through technical guidance, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient deployments
• Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and resolve production issues promptly
• Proactively evaluate and recommend technologies to improve scalability and performance

Key Challenges & Must-Haves:

• Strong fundamentals and core engineering basics are mandatory
• Prior experience working in a startup environment and willingness to thrive in fast-paced, evolving setups
• Relocation readiness is critical; past relocation-related backouts have been a concern
• Must be hands-on and willing to take complete ownership of the system as a Tech Lead, beyond individual contribution
• Weak understanding of databases (schema design, queries, optimization). Poor grasp of microservices architecture.
