Successful candidate will be responsible for proposal and implementation of design improvements for our power delivery products that include AC/DC, DC/DC, high power, low power, high voltage, and low voltage switch mode power supplies.\nKey Responsibilities\nPropose and implement design improvements for AC/DC, DC/DC switch mode power supplies utilizing various topologies across power and voltage ranges.\nEnsure products continue to meet performance specifications, delivery schedules, cost & reliability targets as they continue through the volume production lifecycle.\nCollaborate with the cross-functional team (PCB layout, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Test and Quality Engineering) to ensure that design meets all DfX requirements.\nSelect raw materials, components, and suppliers based on product performance specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in internal design reviews.\nPerform circuit simulations, DFMEA, component stress analysis, reliability prediction calculations, Design Verification Testing and write technical reports.\nPrepare documentation for product requalification.\nSupport RMA group with root causes analysis.\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum of 6 years of related working experience. 10-12 years of work experience preferred.\nExperience in mixed signal circuit design, simulations, and test of power electronics.\nWorking knowledge of power conversion principles, topologies, and technologies.\nExperience designing electronic assemblies and/or power conversion products.\nRF and High Voltage experience is preferred \nAbility to execute a test independently, from setup to result, reporting is necessary\nExperience in validation with strong debug skills, problem tracking \nExperience with test data collection and analysis\nExperience with test plan & test procedure development is a plus\nIn depth understanding of control theory.\nStrong project management experience.\nAbility to make economic judgments with respect to product cost and manufacturing process.\nExcellent verbal, written and organizational skills.\nExcellent mathematical and analytical skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks with minimal supervision.\n XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
