The founders are a group of alumni from Harvard and MIT, and industry experts that have built successful businesses.\nPosition Summary:\nWe seek seeking a skilled and motivated Scientist to support our R&D efforts in protein engineering and cellular assays. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with standard wet lab techniques, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Perform and maintain mammalian cell culture, including transfection and cell-based assays.\n· Conduct large scale bacterial transformation, culture, and plasmid DNA preparation.\n· Execute DNA cloning workflows: digestion, ligation, colony screening, and plasmid verification.\n· Carry out protein expression and purification from E. coli and mammalian cells using affinity chromatography and standard methods.\n· Perform Western blots, including gel electrophoresis, transfer, and immunodetection.\n· Perform ELISA and other plate-based immunoassays.\n· Accurately document experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks.\n· Maintain laboratory supplies, prepare common reagents, and support day-to-day lab operations.\nQualifications:\n· Master or PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or a related field.\n· Minimum 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting.\n· Proficient in mammalian cell culture and stem cell culture\n· Proficiency with aseptic technique, molecular cloning, and protein handling.\n· Strong organizational skills, independence, and attention to detail.\n· Familiarity with basic data analysis and lab record-keeping tools.\nPreferred Skills:\n· Familiarity with protein purification techniques such as FPLC.\n· Mammalian cell culture skills including stem cell culture\n· Prior experience
