Our mission is to become the leading enterprise Translation Management System - and we’re looking for people who want to help shape the future of global communication technology.\nThe Role\nHybrid (3-4 days from the office)\nReporting to and working closely with the Legal & Compliance Director and Senior Legal Counsel, both based in the UK, you will provide day-to-day legal support to the business, with a particular focus on commercial contracts. Working under the guidance of Chloe and the wider Legal team, you will help ensure that customer and supplier agreements protect the company's interests, support business objectives and mitigate legal and commercial risks.\nResponsibilities\nCommercial & Contract Management\nDraft, review and support the negotiation of commercial agreements, including customer and supplier contracts, NDAs, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Order Forms, Statements of Work (SOWs), reseller and referral agreements, and other commercial documentation.\nSupport internal stakeholders, particularly Sales, throughout the contract review and negotiation process to facilitate deal execution while protecting the company's commercial interests.\nReview contractual terms and help identify potential legal and commercial risks, escalating complex issues where appropriate.\nMaintain and update contract templates, policies, playbooks and supporting documentation.\nAssist with legal aspects of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), including customer contract-related queries.\nData Protection & Compliance\nSupport the company's compliance efforts in relation to applicable data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and relevant Canadian privacy legislation.\nAssist with customer security, privacy and compliance questionnaires and related RFP responses.\nWork with internal teams to support privacy policies and appropriate data-handling practices.\nIntellectual Property\nAssist with the protection and management of the company's intellectual property, including software, trademarks and copyrights.\nReview intellectual property provisions in commercial, supplier and partner agreements, seeking guidance from senior colleagues where needed.\nGeneral Legal Support\nProvide day-to-day legal support to internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Service Support, HR and Finance.\nAssist with contract interpretation and queries relating to contractual rights, obligations and potential risks.\nSupport the Legal team with a range of other legal matters, including employment law, intellectual property and data privacy.\nCoordinate with external legal counsel as required.\nContribute to improving legal processes, workflows and documentation.\nRequirements\nExperience as a Paralegal, Legal Executive or in a similar legal role, with strong experience drafting, reviewing and supporting the negotiation of commercial contracts.\nA legal qualification or relevant legal training is preferred.\nExperience with a range of commercial agreements, such as NDAs, customer and supplier contracts, and other business agreements.\nAn understanding of general legal principles and an interest in developing knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR.\nExperience in the technology or SaaS industry is an advantage but is not essential.\nStrong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.\nA proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and develop within a collaborative Legal team.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments.\n\n............................The ability to work independently on day-to-day tasks while recognising when to seek guidance or escalate more complex matters.\nBenefits\nWhy You’ll Enjoy Working Here\nAt XTM, we want people to do meaningful work, grow their careers, and have the freedom to innovate.
