The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise in cloud engineering, Kubernetes and automation with strong leadership skills and a forward-thinking approach to modern DevOps and AI infrastructure.\nScope of Tasks\nDefining, championing, and executing the company’s DevOps and cloud roadmap to ensure alignment with rapid product development and global scale\nLeading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence\nOverseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure primarily on AWS\nDriving the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to ensure all infrastructure is versioned, automated, and reproducible\nContinuously improving and automating CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and frequent software releases across the organization\nEstablishing and tracking key reliability metrics such as SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure maximum platform uptime and performance\nOverseeing critical operational areas including monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning\nIntegrating security best practices into the entire SDLC (DevSecOps) to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards\nManaging cloud spending effectively through FinOps practices, identifying cost-saving measures without compromising on performance\nDriving the evolution of containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) across the global platform\nRequirements\nCloud Engineering, or SRE\nDemonstrating over 5 years of extensive, hands-on experience designing and managing complex, high-availability production workloads on AWS\nHaving proven experience in a leadership role such as Director, Head of, or Lead, with a track record of successfully mentoring technical teams\nPossessing expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation\nHolding deep technical mastery of AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and advanced networking/security tools\nShowing expert-level knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management, Helm charts, and service mesh concepts\nHaving strong experience with modern CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, with a commitment to GitOps principles\nDemonstrating proficiency in at least one relevant scripting language like Python, Bash, or Go\nPossessing the ability to manage multi-cloud environments, specifically involving both AWS and GCP\nHaving experience with advanced observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog as a distinct advantage\nShowing familiarity with MLOps or AI infrastructure pipelines to support the industry's shift toward AI-driven translation\nPossessing English language skills at a professional level to lead global teams and align technical strategy with business objectives\nBenefits\nWhy You’ll Enjoy Working Here\nAt XTM, we want people to do meaningful work, grow their careers, and have the freedom to innovate.
