You will turn business requirements into production outcomes by shaping architecture, making and communicating technical decisions, and helping engineers deliver and improve continuously.\nWe want someone who stays hands-on and technically credible, while raising the quality of decisions across the team and working well with other teams, external partners, and non-technical stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\n1. System Design and Architecture\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions, defining components, service boundaries, APIs, data flows, and data models. \nChoose between synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns and evaluate architectural trade-offs. \nConsider scalability, reliability, security, observability, and maintainability from the start.\n2. System Integration\nDesign and oversee integrations with internal services and external or third-party systems (REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven flows). \nDefine how the system behaves under timeouts, retries, duplicate requests, partial failures, and inconsistent data, including idempotency and reconciliation. \nOwn API contracts, versioning, authentication and authorization, and data ownership across system boundaries.\n3. Technical Leadership\nMake and document technical decisions, including the alternatives considered and the reasons for the choice. \nSet technical direction, resolve technical disagreements, and constructively challenge proposals. \nGuide, mentor, and unblock engineers, and establish engineering practices within the team. \nIdentify technical risks early and escalate appropriately.\n4. Technical Execution\nTake part in code reviews, design reviews, technical planning, and testing strategy. \nDebug and troubleshoot production issues, and identify and manage technical debt. \nMove between architecture, service design, API and data model, implementation, and production concerns.\n5. Communication and Collaboration\nExplain technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs clearly to engineers, product, and management. \nCollaborate with other Tech Leads, teams, and external partners, and raise problems proactively. \nProduce clear technical documentation. \nRequirements\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. \nMinimum 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. \nStrong software engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on experience building production systems. \nStrong system design skills, able to independently design a moderately complex system and explain its components, data flow, API boundaries, data model, failure scenarios, and scalability considerations. \nReal-world experience integrating multiple systems, including external or third-party ones, and handling unavailable dependencies, timeouts, duplicate requests, partial failures, and data inconsistencies. \nSolid understanding of APIs and service communication: REST, API contracts, versioning, authentication and authorization, rate limiting, and webhooks. \nUnderstanding of data modelling, data ownership, consistency, and reliability. \nDemonstrated ability to make technical decisions, provide direction, guide engineers, and explain trade-offs. \nAbility to review designs and implementations, and to troubleshoot production problems. \nClear verbal and written communication, with the ability to adapt the message for technical and non-technical audiences. \nOwnership mindset and proactive, cross-team collaboration. \nComing from Top University will be a plus consideration \nNice-to-have experience:\nExperience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture. \nExperience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub. \nCloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), plus Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. \nFamiliarity with Go, Java, .NET, or React/Next.js.
