As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in defining the end-to-end architecture, translating business requirements into technical designs, and ensuring solutions align with the Customer’s enterprise architecture. This role combines technical leadership, system design, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver impactful digital solutions. Candidates with public sector experience are preferred, as this role supports IT projects for government agencies.\nResponsibility:\nEvaluate technical proposals from vendors supplying process control monitoring systems, AGVs, cremator equipment and integration.\nAssess vendor solutions for feasibility, integration capability and delivery capacity, and provide recommendations to support procurement decisions.\nEstablish system integration standards including Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and technical architecture principles.\nEnsure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including industrial control system guidelines and cybersecurity requirements.\nSupervise and guide appointed system integrators across all project phases.\nReview architectural blueprints, integration plans and technical specifications.\nMonitor conversion of operational requirements into technical specifications and process workflows.\nOversee testing activities including Master Acceptance Test Plans and integrated system validation.\nConduct risk assessments including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).\nCoordinate stakeholders including authorities, contractors, consultants and system vendors.\nProvide technical guidance and report system risks, progress and recommendations to management.\nSupport governance meetings and verify system-related contractor payments.\nRequirements\nMandatory\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.\nMinimum 8-10 years of experience in solution architecture or systems integration.\nExperience working with industrial control systems, SCADA or process control monitoring systems.\nStrong understanding of system integration methodologies, interface management and risk management practices (FMEA).\nExperience supervising system integrators and coordinating multiple vendor engagements.\nExperience evaluating complex technical proposals and architecture designs.\nExperience supporting system acceptance testing, commissioning and validation.\nStrong understanding of change management and configuration control processes.\nExperience working with Singapore Government agencies or statutory boards on industrial control or infrastructure projects.\nPreferred\nExperience with building automation or facility management systems.\nFamiliarity with automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems or industrial automation environments.\nKnowledge of specialised operational facilities such as crematorium operations.\nCertifications in enterprise architecture or project management (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, PMP, PRINCE2).\nBenefits\nBy submitting your resume/CV, you consent and agree to allow the information provided to be used and processed by or on behalf of Xtremax Pte Ltd for purposes related to your registration of interest in current or future employment with us and for the processing of your application for employment.\nYou also represent to us that you have obtained the consent of your referees when you disclose to us their personal data for the purpose of conducting reference checks.\nThe personal data held by us relating to your application will be kept strictly confidential and in accordance with the PDPA.
