This role supports the organization’s investment in an internal product team by establishing repeatable testing practices, preserving product knowledge, and ensuring that software created through traditional, AI-assisted, and no-code development approaches meets functional, security, regulatory, and user expectations.\nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans for web applications, APIs, integrations, and related digital services. \nOwn regression testing, release validation, defect verification, and production readiness reviews for scheduled and urgent releases. \nDevelop and maintain scalable automated test suites that improve coverage and reduce reliance on external manual testing. \nDocument defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, severity, and supporting evidence. \nCollaborate with software developers, product owners, firmware teams, regulatory stakeholders, and quality teams to validate requirements and confirm that changes are ready for release. \nReview user stories, acceptance criteria, product requirements, and technical designs to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle. \nSupport testing and documentation for software updates that interface with medical device workflows or regulated product environments. \nHelp evaluate AI-assisted and no-code development outputs by confirming that generated functionality meets business, security, compliance, and usability requirements. \nMaintain test documentation, validation evidence, and release records to support internal quality processes and audit readiness. \nRecommend improvements to testing tools, quality processes, automation frameworks, and release management practices. \nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications \nExperience in software quality assurance, software testing, validation engineering, or a related technical role. \nWorking knowledge of test case design, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect tracking. \nExperience with test automation tools or frameworks and a willingness to expand automated test coverage over time. \nAbility to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding test results, release risks, and defect status. \nFamiliarity with Agile development practices and modern software development lifecycles. \nStrong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving ability, and a quality-focused mindset. \nBachelor’s degree in health sciences, computer science, engineering, or a related field. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience supporting healthcare, life sciences, medical device, or other regulated software environments. \nExperience testing cloud-based SaaS platforms, APIs, workflow applications, or data-driven systems. \nFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar testing and tracking platforms. \nExperience working with product teams that use AI-assisted development, no-code tools, or low-code platforms. \nPrior experience supporting XVIVO-related software, medical device-adjacent software work, or contracted development/testing activities. \nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary: $65,000 -
