We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.\nSETUP & OPERATION\nSet up NC/CNC machines according to process sheets, tooling instructions, and work orders.\nLoad, delete, and verify CNC programs, ensuring alignment with specifications.\nOperate CNC machines to perform complex machining operations, including turning, milling, borinig, and grinding.\nAdjust or replace tooling as required to maintain compliance with part specifications.\nUnderstand and modify existing CNC programs and independently perform program prove outs with minimal supervision.\nINSPECTION & VERIFICATION\nPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product meets blueprint tolerances and finishing standards.\nVisually and dimensionally check materials, components, and finished products for defects or non-conformances.\nNotify supervision immediately of shortages, defects, non-standard conditions, or malfunctioning machinery.\nMAINTENANCE & EQUIPMENT CARE\nConduct routine preventative maintenance on CNC machines and related tooling.\nClean and maintain work area and machinery following 5S and safety protocols.\nAssist in proving out new programs and processes as required.\nMATERIAL HANDLING & DOCUMENTATION\nMove materials as required using hand or powered equipment.\nMaintain accurate production and quality records\nObserve and comply with all safety regulations and company procedures.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.\nWorking knowledge of shop mathematics, including decimals, fractions, and basic algebra\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nExperience & Skills\n2-3 years or equivalent experience operating NC/CNC Machines\nExperience with machine setup, operation, and inspection of precision parts\nNC/CNC machine operation and programming fundamentals\nDimensional metrology and blueprint interpretation\nGD&T\nWorking Conditions\nWork performed in manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and moving equipment.\nRequires standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.\nPersonal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as directed.\nMust be able to work various shifts or overtime as needed to support production\nJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
