This role combines commercial driving responsibilities with hands-on technical service, providing a unique opportunity to work both on the road and in the field.\nWhat your day will look like as a CDL Driver Technician:\nThe CDL Driver Technician is responsible for safely operating DOT-regulated vehicles to transport equipment and materials to customer locations while also performing field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Depending on the assigned business unit, you may work with mechanical, electrical, diesel, fusion, or other specialized equipment.\nYou will interact directly with customers, identify and resolve equipment issues, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure equipment is operating efficiently and reliably. If you believe that we would be the right fit for you, please apply today.\nPosition Requirements for CDL Driver Technicians:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAbility to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with applicable endorsements\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card\nClean driving record\nAbility to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)\nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport for cross-border travel, if required\n0-2 years of technical or field service experience preferred\nMechanical, electrical, diesel, fusion, or related technical experience is a plus\nExperience with Microsoft Office and smart devices\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nAbility to work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field\nAbility to identify and address potential safety concerns\nAbility to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR review, and DOT physical\nAbility to safely operate vehicles on overnight and long-distance routes as needed\nUnderstanding of vehicle weight limits and load distribution principles\nTravel Requirements:\n20%-80% travel depending on business needs and assigned territory. Overnight travel and time away from home may be required.\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $27-$33/hr.
