We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.\nXylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position\nThe Role\nThe Field Service Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for efficient operations, troubleshooting and solutioning Electrical & Instruments (E&I) issues at an operating water plant, and supporting facility operations\nThis role involves Control Panel experience and a combination of troubleshooting, maintenance on \"Electrical and Instrumentation\" systems, and altering/ navigating controls programming. Also will service reverse osmosis and water filtration equipment\n What You'll Do:\nTroubleshooting and solutioning of electrical and instrumentation systems\nProgramming support (PLC,VFD, MCP etc.)\nReverse Osmosis and Water Filtration equipment\nControls narrative suggestions and improvement implementation\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams\nInstallation of electrical components\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues\nSafety and Environmental Compliance\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and protocols\nDevelop and implement quality control procedures\nEnsure accurate instrumentation consistency and quality standards are met\nTechnical Support\nProvide technical support to colleagues and clients\nTrain and educate team members on new processes or products\nDocumentation and Reporting: maintain accurate records and documentation\nPrepare reports on production processes and results\nPresent findings and recommendations to management or clients.\nWhat You'll bring:\n3 year’s experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.\nPreferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering \nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nProficiency in data analysis and simulation software.\nKnowledge of physical chemical water plants.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nTravel: 50% of the time, typically home on weekends\nCompany Service Vehicle will be provided\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $100k to $125k. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
