This role is ideal for an early-career engineer interested in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering data, analytics, and operational systems.\nAs a PDLM GET, you will support global initiatives related to PLM implementation, user support, product data quality, reporting, and process improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and IT to help improve system adoption, data consistency, and business visibility.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience with tools such as PTC Windchill, PTC Creo, Power BI, and enterprise engineering workflows while contributing to high-impact digital transformation initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport PLM implementation and rollout activities across global teams.\nAssist with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination for system and process enhancements.\nParticipate in system testing, validation, and go-live support for PLM-related initiatives.\nProvide day-to-day support to PTC Windchill and PTC Creo Parametric users.\nHelp maintain product data quality, lifecycle status accuracy, and workflow consistency within PLM systems.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and KPI reports for engineering and operational performance.\nAssist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve decision-making and process visibility.\nContribute to user training, quick reference guides, and process documentation.\nParticipate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and IT teams to support enterprise system adoption and process standardization.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\n0-1 years of experience in engineering systems, product data management, analytics, or related areas.\nBasic understanding of engineering processes, product data, or enterprise systems.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.\nEagerness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship, academic project, or hands-on exposure to PLM, PDM, or enterprise engineering systems.\nFamiliarity with PTC Windchill and/or PTC Creo Parametric.\nExposure to Power BI, Excel VBA, SQL, or Power Platform.\nAwareness of data analysis, reporting, or dashboard development concepts.\nExposure to CAD or engineering design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical, or Revit.\nInterest in automation, digital engineering, or process optimization.\nTechnical Skills\nThe ideal candidate may have exposure to some of the following tools and technologies:\nSkill Area Relevant Tools / Knowledge\nPLM / Engineering Systems PLM, PTC Windchill, PTC Creo Parametric\nAnalytics & Reporting Power BI, Data Analysis, Excel VBA, SQL\nAutomation Power Platform, Python, AutoIT\nCAD / Design Tools CREO, AutoCAD Mechanical, Revit\nSupporting Technologies JavaScript, Java, C++\nCore Competencies\nLearning agility\nAnalytical mindset\nAttention to detail\nCollaboration and teamwork\nCommunication skills\nCustomer-focused support approach\nOwnership and accountability\nAdaptability in a fast-paced environment\nContinuous improvement orientation\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccessful candidates in this role will:\nBuild strong foundational knowledge in PLM systems and engineering operations\nContribute to reliable product data and workflow accuracy\nSupport effective dashboarding and KPI visibility\nHelp improve user adoption through responsive support and training\nGrow into broader responsibilities in systems, analytics, and automation \nJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
