You'll work closely with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to improve test capabilities, increase efficiency, and support the production of industry-leading water technology solutions.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead Manufacturing Test Operations\nDesign and implement test setups and measurement systems based on engineering requirements.\nValidate and optimize manufacturing test systems to ensure reliable and repeatable results.\nSupport test operators by developing best practices, fixturing solutions, and troubleshooting procedures.\nAssist with modernization and continuous improvement of test equipment and facilities.\nDrive Quality and Reliability\nLead root cause investigations and corrective actions to address quality issues and improve process capability.\nDevelop and maintain PFMEAs, process control plans, and risk mitigation strategies.\nSupport ISO 9001, UL, ASME, and other regulatory and quality audits.\nPartner with Quality Engineers to reduce defects and enhance product reliability.\nImprove Manufacturing Performance\nMonitor Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and identify opportunities to improve throughput and productivity.\nConduct time studies and analyze manufacturing data to drive efficiency and cost savings.\nSupport Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and other continuous improvement activities.\nCollaborate with maintenance teams and third-party contractors on calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment upgrades.\nSupport New Product Introduction\nPartner with Design Engineering during product development and transfer-to-production activities.\nCoordinate pilot builds, first article inspections, validation testing, and equipment commissioning.\nSupport capacity planning, resource utilization, and business continuity initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related technical field.\n5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, test engineering, or a related discipline with a strong focus on test systems.\nStrong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting aptitude.\nExperience with Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing quality systems.\nStrong analytical, technical, project management, and communication skills.\nExperience working cross-functionally in manufacturing environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.\nExperience with CNC machining, manufacturing testing, and automated test systems.\n3D CAD and SolidWorks experience.\nExperience in engineer-to-order manufacturing environments.\nExperience with Value Stream Mapping and Lean transformation initiatives.\nExperience in a union manufacturing environment.\nAutomotive, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $80k to $90k base plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
