The position involves playing a key role in advancing Xylem water treatment technology capabilities. This position plays a vital role in supporting Xylem’s water treatment projects by providing high-quality mechanical design and engineering deliverables. The role focuses on order engineering activities such as design, submittal preparation, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective execution of customer projects. If you are excited and passionate, we want to hear from you!\nEssential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:\nExecute equipment sizing/selection and detailed design for order engineering projects.\nPrepare structural/hydraulic designs, general arrangement and layout\nReview contract specifications/plans.\nDevelop 2D/3D CAD models, submittal and fabrication drawings, and manufacturing deliverables.\nPrepare and review engineering submittals for client and internal approvals.\nProvide engineering support across the order cycle, from design through fabrication and delivery.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.\nIndependently manage assigned tasks, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.\nMust Have:\nStrong proficiency in Creo/Inventor with parametric modelling.\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD.\nSolid understanding of mechanical system design, application, and manufacturing.\nGood to Have:\nKnowledge of piping/structural design and GD&T.\nExperience with water/wastewater projects and OEM environments.\nFamiliarity with engineering submittals, fabrication processes, and shop drawings.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across teams and regions.\nQualifications:\n4-Year bachelor’s degree/4 + 2-year master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.\n0-3 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering.\nExposure to fabrication/manufacturing drawings and submittal processes preferred.\nKnowledge of various water treatment technologies and technological advancements.\nXylem offers you an exciting career in an international environment, with a global network of sales companies, suppliers and manufacturers.
