In this role, you will work alongside Territory Managers, Sales Engineers, Controls Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver advanced water treatment solutions for industrial customers.\nThis position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys both technical design and project execution. From project development and equipment design to commissioning and customer support, you'll play a key role throughout the entire project lifecycle.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead Mechanical Design & Project Execution\nDevelop mechanical system designs, equipment layouts, and project scopes of supply.\nCreate bills of material, engineering drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo.\nReview and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.\nSupport manufacturing, shop testing, installation, and commissioning activities.\nDrive Project Success\nManage technical deliverables, schedules, and customer requirements throughout project execution.\nPrepare project submittals, O&M manuals, and other customer documentation.\nCoordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to source equipment and obtain quotations.\nProvide troubleshooting and technical support during startup and field service activities.\nCollaborate Across Teams\nPartner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Field Service, and Project Management teams.\nSupport proposal development, technical specifications, cost estimates, and equipment selection.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.\nIdentify opportunities for design improvements and cost savings.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.\n3+ years of project execution experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or a related industrial process environment.\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pumping equipment, valves, and fluid handling processes.\nAbility to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and P&IDs.\nExperience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.\nStrong problem-solving, organization, and project management skills.\nExcellent communication and customer-facing abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with industrial water treatment systems.\nExperience supporting equipment fabrication, commissioning, and field startup activities.\nKnowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.\nExperience working with global teams across multiple time zones.\nJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
