This position involves conducting detailed quality inspections, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and developing and implementing quality control plans. The Quality Analyst collaborates with cross functional teams to address quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring junior quality staff.\nResponsibilities:\nQuality Control\nPerform inspections and audits to ensure products meet quality standards\nIdentify and report any defects or nonconformities\nDevelop and maintain quality control procedures\nMonitor production processes and implement corrective actions when necessary\nCollaborate with production team to improve product quality\nConduct root cause analysis for quality issues\nMaintain records and documentation of quality control activities Product Testing\nDevelop and execute testing protocols for raw materials and finished products\nAnalyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements\nWork with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards\nConduct shelf life studies and stability testing\nAssist with the validation of manufacturing processes Documentation and Reporting\nPrepare quality reports and communicate results to management\nMaintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs and work instructions\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards\nParticipate in internal and external audits\nImplement and monitor corrective and preventive actions\nProvide training to employees on quality standards and procedures Continuous Improvement\nIdentify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes\nImplement lean principles and other quality improvement methodologies\nParticipate in cross functional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions\nMonitor and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts\nStay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and control. Qualifications:\nAn associate degree in mechanical/electrical or a related field or at least 5 years experience in a quality related position equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.\nStrong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).\nIn-depth understanding of problem-solving principles and practices.\nAbility to use quality-based measuring equipment\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
