We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.\nThe Role\nThe Quality Assurance Supervisor (2nd Shift) is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance team and ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements. This position is a second-shift role and is regularly scheduled to work from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This role leads quality control activities, implements and maintains inspection procedures, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting of quality performance.\nThe supervisor works cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify quality risks, resolve issues, support new product introductions, and sustain compliance with quality management systems and industry standards to maintain product integrity, reduce non-conformances, and support customer satisfaction.\nCore Responsibilities\nLead and support the Quality Assurance team by providing daily direction, coaching, development, and performance oversight to maintain strong team performance and accountability.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, inspection methods, and standards to ensure consistent product quality and process reliability across manufacturing operations.\nConduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify defects, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities; drive corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods.\nPartner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues, improve processes, and support new product introduction activities, including FAI and PPAP requirements.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality management systems, including ISO 9001.\nMaintain accurate quality documentation and communicate quality performance, risks, standards, and improvement activities to management and key stakeholders.\nSupport operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives by aligning quality plans with business objectives and manufacturing goals.\nFoster a collaborative, high-performing work environment by addressing team concerns constructively, adapting to changing priorities, and supporting overall quality, safety, and operational objectives.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred; or\nMinimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years of people leadership experience.\nExperience working in a manufacturing quality environment.\nExperience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing or operations setting.\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems and applicable regulatory standards, including ISO 9001.\nProficiency with quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.\nExperience using quality inspection equipment and quality-related software systems.\nExperience working in a unionized manufacturing or operations environment, with the ability to apply quality standards consistently while maintaining productive working relationships and adhering to labor agreement requirements.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and support corrective action implementation.\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or other quality-related certification.\nLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.\nExperience supporting new product introductions and customer quality requirements.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.\nSolid vision and hearing.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, handle items, and perform fine motor tasks requiring finger dexterity.\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.\nWork is performed primarily in a manufacturing plant environment.\nExposure to noise, fumes, dust, moving equipment, and high-voltage electrical systems.\nSome duties may be performed outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.\nPosition is regularly scheduled to work second shift, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional overtime as required to support business needs.\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus.
