Regional Technical Service Manager - Flygt Submersible Pumps\nThe Regional Technical Service Manager - Flygt (Submersible Pumps) is be responsible for leading service operations within an assigned region. In this role, the Regional Technical Service Manager will develop and implement plans for driving service center improvements in customer owned repairs, field services, start-ups, commissioning and preventive maintenance activities. Support the “service call center” process by providing support to our end users 24/7/365. \"Company Vehicle is Assigned\"\nWe offer a full benefits package to include Flex Time Off, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nSubmersible Pumps experience\nLead service efforts regionally with focus on customer satisfaction.\nGuide the service efforts of all Flygt (and other relevant Xylem brands) OEM service facilities in the Region.\nReview and manage service metrics with regards to repair time to quote, time to repair and quality / warranty.\nProvide service and shop operational guidance to the Sales/Service branch operations in the assigned area in accordance with established company policies and procedures.\nProvide supervision and training to appropriate personnel to assure smooth, efficient and effective service operations (includes in-shop repairs, start-ups and field service).\nInterface with end-users handling service problems and start-ups either by phone or on-site visit.\nManage equipment repairs for the region and individual service centers.\nAssist with the scheduling of equipment, resources and employees for large projects, along with reviewing all associated documents in conjunction with the local branches.\nAssist the Regional Operations Manager and Service Center Managers to streamline operational processes through the use of LEAN principles and create standards within the region.\nParticipates in cross-functional teams to enhance the operation experience for Xylem customers and increase profitability, including identifying, planning, and executing opportunities for growth and expansion within region.\nQUALIFICATIONS :\nPreferred - Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience\nSubmersible Pump experience\n3-5 years of experience in service and/or rental fleet management\nA minimum of 5 years of experience having led and managed a team is required\n3-5 years’ experience in related field of pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental or construction preferred\nGreen Belt certification preferred or willingness to earn one within the first 18 months\nAbility to handle multiple priorities and remain focused and organized.\nAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.\nAbility to effectively delegate responsibility and manage the work activities of others\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications.\nAbility to meet and continuously maintain authorization to operate a company vehicle.\nKnowledge of electric submersible and pumping equipment.\nM&C and Electrical Skills\nFamiliarity with the service industry and the markets served (e.g. construction, mining, municipalities, industrial)\nHigh Impact Behaviors: Continuous Professional Development: Professionals should be committed to lifelong learning, seeking out opportunities for self-improvement, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.\nCollaboration and Teamwork: Effective professionals understand the value of collaboration.
