As a Production Worker, you'll play a critical role in supporting manufacturing and regeneration processes that help deliver safe, sustainable water solutions to customers around the world. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoy operating equipment, solving problems, and contributing directly to operational success.\nWhat You'll Do\nProduction & Equipment Operations\nMonitor production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation.\nControl workflow and equipment progress while maintaining established operating procedures.\nLoad and unload deliveries from company branches and transportation carriers.\nAccurately enter operational and production data into computer systems.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs when appropriate.\nSupport production targets, quality standards, and operational performance metrics.\nPartner with internal teams to meet customer and business needs.\nCarbon Area Responsibilities\nPackage finished product and prepare samples for testing.\nConduct routine product testing and quality checks.\nManage spent carbon feed operations for the reactivation furnace.\nTransfer and switch feeds between spent-carbon tanks.\nCalibrate pH probes and monitoring equipment.\nOperate filter press equipment.\nSupport operation of the facility wastewater treatment plant.\nRegeneration Area Responsibilities\nSort bottles by size and resin type.\nOperate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility and load/unload trucks.\nEvacuate bottles and prepare resin batches.\nComplete the full SDI production process, including filling, testing, and quality verification.\nEnsure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, production, or plant environment.\nKnowledge of chemicals, wastewater treatment processes, or related operations preferred.\nAbility to successfully complete site-specific safety and operator training programs.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to follow detailed procedures and work safely in a production environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nManufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial plant experience.\nForklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.\nExperience operating production equipment and performing basic mechanical troubleshooting.\nCarbon Operations Preferred\nAbility to complete and maintain 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, see, hear, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.\nFrequently use computers, keyboards, and written documentation.\nLift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds.\nClimb stairs and navigate industrial work environments.\nOccasionally bend, reach, push, pull, and perform manual handling activities.\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\nWork Environment\nWork performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.\nExposure to varying temperatures ranging from 0°F to 120°F.\nExposure to industrial noise requiring hearing protection.\nOccasional exposure to dust, dirt, chemicals, and production equipment.\nWork performed primarily on concrete surfaces.\nRegular use of computers and telephones for communication and documentation.\nOccasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or seminars.\nWhat We Offer\nBenefits Include:\nCompetitive hourly pay of $24.00 - $26.00 per hour\nMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage available on your first day\nGenerous Paid Time Off and paid holidays\n401(k) with company contribution\nPaid parental leave\nTuition reimbursement\nCareer development and advancement opportunities\nEmployee recognition and rewards programs\nWellness initiatives and support programs\nEmployee discount program\nJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
