You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and IT teams to align systems, streamline business processes, and deliver scalable solutions that support operational excellence.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who combines strong technical expertise in PLM and engineering systems with analytical problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for driving digital innovation and process excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and support enterprise PLM implementation and rollout initiatives across global teams.\nPartner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, coordinate execution, and support change adoption.\nPlan and execute system testing, validation, go-live readiness, and post-deployment support.\nProvide advanced support for PTC Windchill PDMLink and PTC Creo Parametric users and related Engineering Application.\nEnsure data accuracy, lifecycle governance, and workflow consistency within Windchill.\nAnalyze business processes and develop insights that improve visibility, decision-making, and process performance.\nDevelop and deploy automation solutions using Python and AutoIT to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and lower manual effort.\nIdentify and implement opportunities in continuous improvement, digital workflow optimization, and productivity enhancement.\nCoordinate and maintain process documentation, user guides, training materials, and knowledge-sharing repositories.\nPartner across engineering, operations, quality, and IT teams to align systems, tools, and processes across regions.\nSupport user enablement through training sessions, structured documentation, and practical guidance on system usage and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n2-4 years of Relevant professional experience in PLM systems, engineering applications, analytics, automation, or enterprise systems support.\nStrong working knowledge of PTC Windchill and engineering data/lifecycle processes.\nExperience supporting or leading PLM implementation, rollout, testing, adoption, or enhancement initiatives.\nExperience designing and developing Power BI dashboards for business or operational reporting.\nExperience with Python, SQL, or similar tools for automation, data extraction, or process improvement.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical topics for business users.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating or consuming data from Windchill REST APIs.\nHands-on experience with AutoIT, Excel VBA, Power Platform, or similar automation technologies.\nFamiliarity with CAD Automation and engineering design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical, or Revit.\nExposure to SmartAssembly, or related automation tools.\nExperience with enterprise platforms such as ERP LX or related operational systems.\nKnowledge of programming technologies such as Java or VB.NET.\nExperience creating structured documentation, user training content, and knowledge repositories.\nExperience working with global or multi-regional teams.\nTechnical Skills\nThe ideal candidate will bring strength in many of the following areas:\nSkill Area Relevant Tools / Knowledge\nPLM / Engineering Systems PLM, PTC Windchill, PTC Creo Parametric\nAnalytics & Reporting Power BI, Windchill REST APIs, SQL, Data Analysis\nAutomation Python, AutoIT, Excel VBA, Power Platform, Selenium\nCAD / Engineering Tools CAD Automation, CREO, AutoCAD Mechanical, Revit, Smart Assembly\nEnterprise / Development Tools Java, VB.NET, C++, JavaScript\nCore Competencies\nTechnical leadership\nSystems thinking\nAdvanced problem-solving\nCross-functional collaboration\nStakeholder management\nProcess improvement mindset\nData-driven decision-making\nOwnership and accountability\nDocumentation and knowledge sharing\nChange agility\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccessful candidates in this role will:\nDrive scalable improvements in PLM processes and engineering system performance\nDeliver meaningful Power BI reporting and KPI visibility\nImprove productivity through practical automation solutions\nStrengthen data quality, workflow consistency, and lifecycle accuracy\nServe as a trusted technical partner to engineering, operations, quality, and IT stakeholders\nJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
