You'll partner closely with Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and suppliers to proactively identify risks, implement preventive measures, and ensure world-class quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead supplier quality assessments, audits, and development activities to ensure compliance with Xylem quality standards.\nDrive root cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, PFMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.\nManage supplier quality processes, including PPAP, ISIR, Process Control Plans, and product validation activities.\nAnalyze quality and process data to identify trends, improve repeatability, and reduce defects.\nPartner with Sourcing and Engineering teams to implement quality requirements during supplier selection and qualification.\nConduct supplier risk assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance.\nCoordinate containment activities, material disposition, and defect resolution.\nSupport regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.\nDevelop strong supplier relationships while holding partners accountable for quality, delivery, and performance expectations.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related technical field.\n3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, 8D Corrective Actions, and Process Capability (CPK).\nStrong knowledge of ISO quality systems and manufacturing quality processes.\nExperience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier improvement initiatives.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools such as Minitab.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCQE, CQM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.\nExperience in automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.\nHands-on metrology experience.\nKnowledge of UL, CSA, FM, NSF, MTL, or ASME requirements.\nExperience working in a union manufacturing environment.\nThe estimated salary range for this position is $85k to $100k base plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
