Join us on this exciting journey!\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for someone who works comfortably at the crossover of data science software engineering and AI. You will research new analytical approaches to market data, turn them into well-engineered production code, and help shape how our team uses AI in research and development.\nWhat you will do\nresearch, prototype and validate new analytics and metrics on large-scale market data\n\nturn research prototypes into clean, tested and maintainable production code\n\nuse AI assistants (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot etc.) for literature research, exploratory analysis, coding, testing and documentation\n\ncritically review AI-generated code and results for correctness, performance and statistical soundness\n\nwork closely with product, engineering and client-facing teams to turn business questions into data-driven answers and automated workflows\n\nRequirements\nsolid knowledge of Python; experience with Java or C# is a plus\n\ngood grounding in statistics and data analysis, including working with time series\n\nanalytical thinking and problem solving\n\nat least basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts\n\nhands-on experience using AI tools for coding and research, and the judgement to know when not to trust their output\n\ngood software engineering habits: version control (Git), testing, code review, readable code\n\nwillingness to learn, explore and take a proactive approach to daily work and problem solving\n\ngood communication skills in English, both verbal and written (B2 or higher)\n\nBSc or MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field preferred\n\nAdvantageous\nknowledge of financial markets, e.g. equities, order books, market microstructure, trading or transaction cost analysis\n\nexperience building tools or workflows on top of LLM APIs, such as agents, retrieval or automated evaluation\n\nWe
