YAES offers a team of highly qualified, technically excellent engineering professionals who work seamlessly together to service the needs of our clients. \nIn This Role, You Will:\nConduct or assist in thorough investigations and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial structures with an emphasis on construction defect assignments. \nPrepare or assist with detailed and accurate reports on findings. \nProvide or assist with expert testimony and support during litigation processes. \nDevelop and maintain client relationships within the CD service line. \nAttend and coordinate meetings with clients. \nAttend on-site inspections and document field conditions. \nIdentify the root cause and extent of damage by evaluating data, environmental factors, and material properties. \nEnsure job files, documentation, and deliverables are well-organized. \nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nWhat You Bring:\nPE, EIT, or AIA license preferred. \nVarying experience levels considered; 1-2 years relevant experience preferred. \nFamiliarity with construction defect claims and litigation processes preferred. \nStrong client relationship management skills, with an existing or developing client base in the CD service line highly preferred. \nUnderstanding of the design/construction of residential, commercial, and/or industrial structures. \nBackground as a forensic engineer or architect, with a construction focus, preferred. \nExcellent communication, writing, and analytical skills. \nStrong organizational and time management skills. \nAbility to travel with reliable transportation. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team. \nWhat We Offer:\nEmployee-focused culture\nStrong commitment to work-life balance\n100% Remote work\nFlexible vacation & Paid holidays\nPaid family care/sick leave\nParental leave\nComprehensive benefits\n401k w/match\nFraudulent Recruitment Alert:\nPlease be vigilant against fraudulent recruitment attempts.
