This role oversees all aspects of investigative projects including coordinating with clients, performing site visits, managing resources, writing reports, conducting root cause analyses, reviewing building codes, and setting deadlines to ensure project deliverables are submitted in a professional and timely manner. \nThe ideal candidate has an established client network and is experienced in building and maintaining strong professional relationships.\nIn This Role, You Will:\nLead projects and serve as the primary point of contact\nCoordinate site visits, resources, and timelines to keep projects on track\nConduct site visits and testing to gather data across property types\nPerform site visits and lab examinations to collect data on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.\nProduce reports that combine inspection, testing, and analysis data to identify root cause and make recommendations on repair or replacement.\nSupport regional growth through recruiting and business development\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships while generating new work\nPartner with business development on conferences and client outreach\nReview and interpret relevant building codes as necessary for issues about the scope of work.\nOversee the development of repair or replacement design scope, as needed. \nMake independent decisions for projects including selection of analysis and testing methods and allocating resources relevant to the project.\nPerform additional duties as assigned. \n\nWhat You Bring:\nActive PE license required\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience\n10+ years of forensic electrical engineering experience or relevant design experience\nProven ability to write comprehensive technical reports on inspection results\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nWillingness to travel up to 50%\n\nWho We Are:\nYA is an international professional services organization providing forensic consulting, engineering, risk mitigation, and related services.
