The core of the role is building and managing IoT connectivity infrastructure - onboarding devices, designing isolation and security strategies, and keeping everything running reliably as the IoT estate grows. Cisco SD Access, DNA Center, and VxLAN are must-haves. If you don't have hands-on production experience with all three, this isn't the right role.
