\nMaintain laboratory records and documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. \nAssist with the development and validation of laboratory methods, procedures, and protocols. \nConduct quality control checks and assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. \nComply with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and laboratory policies and procedures. \nCollaborate with other laboratory staff to support research projects and studies. \nProvide technical support and assistance to laboratory staff, students, and other stakeholders as needed. \nParticipate in laboratory meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. \nDemonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work. \nEducation \nDiploma in Lab Technology, Microbiology, Biochemical Sciences, Aquaculture and Fisheries \nGrade Twelve (12) Certificate \nCertificate in Laboratory practice/technology and food safety is a plus \nExperience\n2-4 years of laboratory analysis of water quality and/or fish health \nExperience in fish disease diagnosis and management \nSufficient hands-on experience in fish husbandry \nExperience in Quality
