Located 15 kilometres south-west of Singleton in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, MTW relies on both dragline and load haul systems for their continuous operations. The MTW Mine is the largest open cut operation in the region, employing approximately 1,450 people who reside in the local and surrounding communities.\nJob Tasks and Responsibilities\nReporting to the Maintenance Coordinator - Infrastructure, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The primary responsibility for this role is to deliver optimum infrastructure at minimum cost.\nThe role will also require you to:\nSupport in maintaining statutory compliance including incident investigation process, risk management and documents management;\nConduct failure analysis on downtime and critical component failures;\nScope, design and implement site engineering projects;\nIdentify and implement initiatives to improve safety, reliability and reduce costs;\nOptimize maintenance strategies and tactics;\nCollaborate closely with the maintenance and planning teams to implement and generate continuous improvement initiatives.\nSkills and Experience\nThe successful candidates will display the Yancoal - ‘Our Way’ behaviours in everyday practice and foster a ‘One Team’ culture along with promoting the Yancoal Values of People, Safety, Innovation, Integrity and Excellence. To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes:\nTertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or Mechanical Trade with extensive OEM/Mining operational experience;\nA minimum of 5+ years experience working with open cut mining;\nExperience in Risk Management and Document Management;\nExperience in Project Management;\nCondition monitoring, FMECA and RCA experience is advantageous but not required;\nExperience in leading and defining maintenance strategies and tactics;\nAbility to work autonomously and within a large team environment;\nDetailed knowledge of CMMS systems, with specific knowledge of SAP;\nProficient in conducting statistical analysis downtime data and CMMS data.\nBenefits\nYancoal provides a range of benefits to appeal to the diverse needs of our employees.
