It has over 1100 employees with employees residing in the beautiful Mudgee area, with all the facilities for a fantastic family lifestyle.\nJob Tasks and Responsibilities\nWe have an exciting opportunity at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Engineering Manager. Working with a dynamic team, you will be a strong leader who has the ability to drive the correct safety culture whilst maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement, problem solving and high standards. Your responsibilities will include:\nUndertake the statutory roles and responsibilities of Electrical Engineering Manager.\nMaintain the statutory compliance relevant to the underground area of responsibility for electrical equipment, plant, and installations.\nImplement, monitor, and review standards of electrical engineering.\nEnsure safety and legislative compliance.\nTrain, mentor, and coach team members in the EECP and guidelines and procedures of electrical engineering.\nSkills and Experience\nPracticing Certificate: Electrical Engineering Manager of underground coal mines, candidates who are currently sitting for the PCEEM are invited to apply.\nPreferred minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electrical management or supervisory role.\nComprehensive knowledge of mining legislation, best practice industry standards and risk management.\nStrong electrical safety focus, high standards and technical engineering ability.\nA professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement.\nThe ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nStrong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.\nExperience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.\nSound planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.\nBenefits\nYancoal provides a range of benefits to appeal to the diverse needs of our employees.
