Growth teams at teams like Clay and Faire have gone from a couple of videos a month to generating 100’s of videos with Yarn.\nWe're five engineers and designers in Soho NYC. Four of us are ex-founders. We've just launched, and everything on the growth side is still run by the founders. You'd be the first person whose whole job is growing Yarn.\nWhat you'll actually do\nThis is a generalist role - whatever moves the company forward, and today that looks like:\nHunt logos. Get the fastest-growing companies in the world using Yarn. Think Ploy, Legora, OpenAI. Outbound, targeted demos, launches, ABM video at scale.\n\nWrite and ship content. Launch videos, playbook walkthroughs, shorts, posts, landing pages. All the copy that converts. You don't need to be on camera.\n\nDesign and eval the agent. Write the playbooks the agent follows, judge its output, grade evals with the engineers. You won't write much code, but you'll decide what good looks like.\n\nBuild the first growth systems. Onboarding and activation, routines that run 24/7, outbound built on Clay. Then whatever comes next.\n\nWho you are\nSmart and hungry. No specific experience required.\n\nA genuinely good writer. Scripts, cold emails, posts, landing pages.\n\nExtremely high-agency. You'll get a vague problem and a customer waiting.\n\nGood taste. You know the difference between a great launch video and a fine one.\n\nComfortable in ambiguity. We're pre-playbook and pre-metrics. You'll help write both.\n\nCan run through brick walls.\nWe love former founders. Eighty percent of the team are ex-founders.\nBacked by\n$7M+ from Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Race Capital and Varun Anand, cofounder of Clay. Angels include execs from Adobe, Canva and Meta, plus customers and Clay employees.","description_format":"text","description_chars":1796,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":1,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Photo & Video Editing Software","Generative Video"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:08:46Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":37,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.67,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":27,"expected_fill_days":20,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-23T05:54:15Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/yarn-founding-gtm-hire","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/yarn-founding-gtm-hire.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T02:19:51Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3785,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":3034},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=3034"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fyarn-founding-gtm-hire"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fyarn-founding-gtm-hire"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fyarn-founding-gtm-hire"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/yarn-founding-gtm-hire\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fyarn-founding-gtm-hire"}]}
