Furthermore, you will contribute real value by acting as an IT Developer on in-house and purchased IT applications to solve business problems.\n\nThis position reports to an IT Manager and is part of an IT team located in several EAME locations.\n\nJob Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nResolution of system incidents on a key application used in several Eastern Europe Area (EEA) countries\nApplication development (.NET), implementation of Epics, Futures and User Stories (business requirements)\nDevelop, configure Business Intelligence and Analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)\nCoordination and collaboration with system vendor to adjust requirements for business needs\nCreate and execute unit test plans\nSupport system and integration test efforts\nAnalyze and resolve code defects\nAdministration of the system\nAbility to collaborate with Designers, Architects, and testers to optimize the quality of integrated solutions\nInterface with other IT areas and business customer\nHandles projects or work with defined scope in own discipline and typically has a short-term focus\nWorks with guidance on small-scale team/unit projects\nSolves problems in own specialty areas\nMakes worthwhile improvements to existing programs and procedures\nMakes practical suggestions for improving work processes in own area\nWorks for consensus and contributes to achievement of work group goals\nEnsures that technical documentation is maintained and up to date\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nRequires a 4-year accredited university/college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field\n8+ years of experience as an IT Developer\n8+ years of experience in supporting a main application, or any other leasing system\nAdvanced .NET programming skills for the implementation of new features\nExperience in administration of SQL Server (MSSQL and database management)\nSoftware development/configuration knowledge\nUnderstand software technologies and application hosting environments\nKnowledge in Business Intelligence and Analytics tools\nAdvanced experience in ITIL processes and SLAs\nAdvanced English language skills\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience in leasing or financial institution will be an advantage\nOpenness for business travel\nWell-developed communication skills\nAbility to work under time pressure\n\nAdditional points to consider:\n\nFollowing discussion with the client, a few important clarifications on the requirement and the expectations beyond the JD:\n\nCandidate Expectations – Beyond Technical Skills\nWhile the primary requirement is .NET development with Power BI / analytics exposure, the client is specifically looking for a senior, hands-on developer with strong stakeholder management capabilities.\n\nKey expectations:\nExperience: Preferably 8+ years of experience with strong exposure to complex development assignments.\nTechnical Expertise: Strong hands-on .NET development capabilities, along with Power BI / analytics exposure.\nStakeholder Management: Experience working directly with business stakeholders / end users, preferably across global teams and geographies, particularly EMEA.\nCommunication: Excellent verbal communication and conversational skills. The candidate should be comfortable navigating different accents and engaging with stakeholders across regions such as Romania and Kazakhstan.\nRequirement Gathering: Ability to independently interact with business users, clarify requirements, understand user stories, and drive discussions without relying on an intermediary process partner.\nOwnership & Accountability: Ability to manage deliverables, keep stakeholders informed, support business testing / UAT, and take end-to-end ownership.\nMentoring: Should be capable of guiding and mentoring other developers within the team and helping resolve technical queries.\n\nThe key takeaway: We are not looking for a purely backend developer or someone who is only technically strong.
