You will help establish the design language for\nthe Yassir FS product family, set the design bar for the team we are building, and ensure our financial\nexperiences feel native to - and coherent with - the broader Yassir superapp.\nResponsibilities\nOwn end-to-end design for a product squad - from discovery to shipped - covering consumer\nfinancial journeys or B2B / merchant experiences depending on placement.\nTranslate complex financial flows (KYC onboarding, payment initiation, wallet management,\nsettlement dashboards) into interfaces that feel simple and trustworthy to users.\nPartner closely with Product Managers to define design direction, challenge product assumptions,\nand deliver high-quality solutions against tight delivery timelines.\nDesign within regulatory and compliance constraints - KYC/KYB verification tiers, transaction limits,\nAML disclosure requirements - without sacrificing usability.\nBuild and maintain design components that scale across the Yassir FS product suite: consumer app\n(iOS + Android), merchant portal (web), and agent interface.\nProduce thorough, developer-ready design handoffs and follow implementations closely to ensure\nquality at launch.\nPresent design work and rationale to product, engineering, and business stakeholders with clarity\nand confidence.\nYassir Financial Services · Confidential\nConduct user research and usability testing; contribute insights that shape product decisions.\nMentor and review the work of junior designers; help raise the design team's craft and standards.\nChampion accessibility and localisation - our users include French and Arabic speakers, and our\ninterfaces must work correctly in both LTR and RTL layouts.\nParticipate in shaping the design culture, process, and standards at Yassir Financial Services.\nRequirements\n6+ years of experience designing digital products professionally, with a portfolio demonstrating\nstrong product thinking, visual craft, and the ability to handle complex flows.\nExperience in fintech, banking, payments, or a similarly regulated and complex product domain -\nstrongly preferred.\nProven ability to design for complexity: multi-step financial flows, state-heavy UIs, data-heavy\ndashboards, and thorough error/edge-case handling.\nExperience designing for iOS, Android, and web - native and responsive.\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, auto-layout, and design token\nmanagement.\nExperience building and contributing to design systems at scale.\nDeep understanding of iOS and Android design language, platform standards, and system\nbehaviour.\nHigh proficiency producing high-fidelity prototypes to communicate interaction design intent.\nStrong knowledge of design principles and the end-to-end product development process.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (both required); French is a\nsignificant plus.\nComfortable in a high-ambiguity, build-from-scratch environment - you make good decisions with\nincomplete information and adapt quickly.\nExperience designing for Arabic-speaking or French-speaking markets, including RTL layout\nconsiderations, is a strong advantage.\nDegree in interaction design, computer science, or equivalent - or equivalent demonstrated\nexperience.\nPrevious experience at a high-growth fintech, digital bank, or payments company in MENA is an advantage.\nYassir Financial Services is a young domain inside a proven superapp - which means you get the\ndistribution and user base of an established platform, and the creative latitude of a team still writing its first\ndesign principles.
