QA Manager – Financial Services (Fintech)
Role Purpose
The QA Manager will lead the quality assurance strategy for Yassir’s financial services products, ensuring that payment systems, digital wallets, and fintech solutions are secure, compliant, and high-performing. This role requires deep expertise in fintech QA practices, regulatory compliance, and automation frameworks to guarantee reliability and trust in Yassir’s financial offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as QA Lead in financial services, managing multiple resources across manual and automated testing streams.
Lead QA in a fast-paced fintech environment, focusing on globally deployed digital payment platforms and wallet systems.
Own the end-to-end testing strategy, including test planning, execution, defect management, and release sign-off for critical financial applications.
Handle production issues through log analysis and root-cause investigation, collaborating with engineering and product teams for rapid resolution.
Drive automation strategy and planning, while remaining hands-on with manual and automated testing.
Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Java with Rest Assured for API/backend services testing.
Perform in-depth API testing, validation, and production log debugging to ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity.
Build and mentor a high-performing QA team, with a strong focus on automation to increase ROI and efficiency.
Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and standards to support scalable, reliable, and secure financial systems.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in fintech or financial services QA leadership.
Proven expertise in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure QA practices.
Strong knowledge of payment systems, transaction flows, and financial APIs.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG.
Familiarity with fintech compliance frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work in multicultural teams.
