We are currently seeking high potential candidates to join us through 3D / R&P Engineering team, reporting directly to the area supervisor.\nPosition Mission: Responsible for developing and maintaining wire harness designs and associated technical documentation, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and Design for Manufacturing requirements. Provides technical expertise and design support throughout the product development lifecycle, collaborating with customers, engineering teams and manufacturing to deliver high-quality EDS solutions.\nMain tasks & responsibilities:\nEngineering & Product Development\nCreate 3D CAD models of wire harnesses requested by customer using 3D CAD tools.\nEnsures that customer specifications and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) indications are followed.\nGenerates the requests of product modifications and drawing modifications.\nCreate proposals and participate in cost saving activities.\nAct as a technical interface with customers (OEMs) for systems designs definition.\nAvailable for onsite support at CSC or Plant (upon request).\nTeam & Cross Functional Support\nInteract and collaborate with various stakeholders including customers (OEMs), CSC and manufacturing plants.\nEnsure effective information sharing among department members and cross-functional teams.\nPromote improvement activities related to engineering product development and definition.\nBusiness & Project Management\nPerform administrative tasks to control the complete engineering process and workflow.\nMonitor and report project progress, risks and issues, escalating where necessary.\nEnsure adherence to agreed deadlines with customers and internal stakeholders.\nRequirements:\nAcademic Background\nDegree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical.\nTechnical Skills\nSolid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (advanced level).\nGood knowledge of 3D CAD Tools (e.g. CATIA, Siemens NX or equivalent).\nGood knowledge of 2D Design Tools (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent).\nKnowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PDCA and 8D methodology.\nUnderstanding of automotive engineering standards and product change management processes.\nLanguages\nAdvanced English (spoken and written) and/or German.\nSoft Skills\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills for customer and stakeholder interaction.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.\nDynamism, resilience and self-discipline.\nStrong time-management and team-working skills.\nAvailability to travel if required.\nAt Yazaki, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for everyone which extends to all aspects of the employment relationship.\nWe are looking forward to receiving your application and to get to know you.
