To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Injection Process Controller Specialist in our plant in [[location]].\nWe are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Injection Process Controller Supervisor to lead and coordinate process control activities within the Injection area.\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring process stability, product conformity and compliance with automotive quality requirements, while leading the Process Controller team and promoting a strong culture of problem-solving, prevention and continuous improvement.\nThe ideal candidate should combine strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes with leadership capabilities, analytical thinking and a proactive approach to process control and quality improvement.\nMain Responsibilities\nLead, coordinate and develop the Injection Process Controller team, ensuring clear priorities, responsibilities and effective daily follow-up.\nEnsure effective control and monitoring of injection molding processes and critical process parameters.\nGuarantee process stability and product conformity according to internal, customer and automotive quality requirements.\nMonitor process performance, identify deviations and ensure timely reaction and escalation.\nLead structured problem-solving activities related to process deviations, internal defects and customer complaints.\nApply and promote the use of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and PDCA.\nEnsure the implementation, monitoring and effectiveness verification of corrective and preventive actions.\nAnalyse process data, quality results, scrap, rework and process trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.\nEnsure effective implementation and monitoring of Process Control Plans and reaction plans.\nSupport the definition and improvement of process parameters and control methods.\nEnsure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and applicable automotive quality standards.\nEnsure compliance with CQI 23 requirements and applicable automotive quality standards.\nSupport and participate in VDA 6.3 process audits, ensuring effective preparation, implementation of corrective actions and sustainable closure of findings.\nPromote risk-based thinking and preventive quality approaches within the Injection area.\nSupport PFMEA reviews and ensure alignment between PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions and actual shop floor conditions.\nWork closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other relevant functions to improve process performance and product quality.\nEnsure effective communication and escalation of critical quality and process issues.\nParticipate in new product and process industrialization activities when required.\nPromote standardization, lessons learned and continuous improvement across injection processes.\nDevelop the technical competencies and problem-solving capabilities of the Process Controller team.\nEnsure compliance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements.\nCandidate Profile\nDegree or Technical Education in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production or a related technical field.\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in injection molding processes, preferably within the automotive industry.\nPrevious experience in team coordination, supervision or technical leadership will be highly valued.\nStrong technical knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, process parameters and process control.\nGood knowledge of injection molding defects, root causes and corrective actions.\nStrong knowledge and practical experience with structured problem-solving methodologies.\nKnowledge and practical application of VDA 6.3 requirements.\nGood knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality requirements.\nExperience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA.\nAbility to analyse process data, identify trends and define effective corrective and preventive actions.\nExperience in internal and/or customer complaint analysis will be valued.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.\nGood level of English, both written and spoken.\nAt Yazaki, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for everyone which extends to all aspects of the employment relationship.\nWe are looking forward to receiving your application and to get to know you.
