This position oversees key operational functions, including:\nParts Control\n\nWarehousing\n\nSequencing\n\nRepack Operations\n\nInventory Control\n\nThe Distribution Supervisor serves as a key communicator of company processes, policies, and administrative matters while setting a positive example for all associates. This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting continuous improvement, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting departmental and organizational objectives.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\n1. Leadership & Associate Development\nEnsure proper training and maintain training documentation for all department associates.\n\nPlan and coordinate associate work schedules.\n\nSupervise direct reports and oversee daily activities.\n\nProvide ongoing guidance, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.\n\nPrepare and conduct associate performance evaluations.\n\nAddress and resolve associate administrative and personal concerns.\n\nPromote teamwork, accountability, and professional development.\n\n2. Distribution Center Operations\nOversee daily operations within assigned departments.\n\nOrder necessary services, supplies, and minor equipment.\n\nPrepare operational reports as required.\n\nManage operational expenses related to the facility or department.\n\nAssist with the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets.\n\nIdentify and resolve shortages, damages, and inventory discrepancies.\n\nMaintain accurate departmental records and documentation.\n\nEnsure proper storage, handling, and maintenance of equipment.\n\n3. Customer Service & Quality\nCommunicate directly with internal and external Yazaki customers.\n\nAddress and resolve customer concerns, issues, and complaints.\n\nEnsure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).\n\nSupport customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate operations.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve service quality and operational performance.\n\n4. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement\nPromote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.\n\nEnsure compliance with corporate and departmental policies.\n\nSupport Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.\n\nSupport Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.\n\nEnforce applicable health and safety policies.\n\nEncourage continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.\n\nAssist management in achieving corporate and departmental goals and objectives.\n\n5.
